Waxing Gibbous, 10 Days

Happy New Year! I threw the tripod out onto the deck at the turn of the New Year to capture the moon waxing gibbous in the 10th day of it's lunar cycle. No big party, just a quiet evening at home, though I could hear fireworks and shouts throughout the neighborhood as I pointed the camera skyward into the very cold night, trying not to think of resolutions. I certainly have some forthcoming short-term financial, professional, and creative goals like most, as is always the case, but as for the rest of the year I'll resolve to simply wait to see what happens with an open and positive mindset. Won't you join me?
